Door sensor
  1. Using the pin tool supplied, press the Reset button for 3 seconds, and release.
  2. The LED will flash red to indicate the device is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Zigbee smart system, search for a new device.
Motion Sensor
  1. Using the pin tool supplied, press the Reset button for 3 seconds, and release.
  2. The LED will flash red to indicate the device is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Zigbee smart system, search for a new device.
Soil Sensor
  1. Put the sensor in pairing mode by pressing and holding the pairing button for 6 seconds.
  2. On your Zigbee smart system, search for a new device.



Temperature and humidity sensor
  1. Using the pin tool supplied, press the Reset button for 3 seconds, and release.
  2. The LED will flash red to indicate the device is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Zigbee smart system, search for a new device.
Water Sensor
  1. Press and hold the “Set” button for 3 seconds.
  2. The LED will flash to indicate the device is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Zigbee smart system, search for a new device.

No preparation is needed - the device will work natively with ZHA.

You will need to install our driver:
  1. We recommend you unpair any of our sensors already paired first.
  2. On your web browser go to: https://bestow-regional.api.smartthings.com/invite/1J2QyNNJAO20
  3. Sign in to your Samsung account.
  4. Click "Enroll".
  5. Click "Available Drivers".
  6. Now find "Candeo Edge Zigbee Sensors".
  7. Click "Install" under the driver details.
Hubitat


You will need to install our driver:

  1. Before adding or updating the driver, we recommend removing any devices of this same sensor model from your Hubitat system
  2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
  3. Click "+ New driver".
  4. Click "Import".
  5. Paste the relevant web address from below into the box that pops up:

  11. Click "Import".
  12. Click "Save".
  13. Perform a factory reset on your sensor, and pair again (if you removed the sensor at the start)

Not compatible with Hue
Amazon Echo


The core features are supported natively in Amazon Echo devices that have Zigbee. For more advanced features an alternative Zigbee platform is recommended.
Other Zigbee 3.0 platforms
Please follow the pairing instructions for your hub.
 

Put the Device in Pairing Mode:

Door sensor
Motion Sensor
Soil Sensor
Temperature and humidity sensor
Water Sensor
Door sensor
  1. Use the supplied 3M sticker to attach the main body of the sensor to your door or window frame.
  2. Attach the smaller part (the magnet) to the door or window, ensuring that the space in between the 2 parts is less than 15mm when the door/window is closed.
Motion Sensor
  1. Use the supplied 3M sticker to attach the sensor to your preferred location.
For best results, the sensor should be 2.2-3.5m above the ground when ceiling mounted.
Soil Sensor
  1. Wipe clean the sensor element.
  2. Insert the sensor into the soil of your indoor plants to a depth of approximately 2/3 of the length of the sensor element, keeping the silicon case clear of the soil.
Temperature and humidity sensor
  1. Use the supplied 3M sticker to attach the sensor to your preferred location.
Notes
For best results, make sure to place the sensor away from objects that will directly affect the temperature. For example, appliances, fires, fans, radiators etc.

For accurate readings please install the sensor where there is a natural air flow.
Water Sensor
Place the sensor flat on the floor or surface where it is intended to detect for water leaks.
