Installation Instructions

Our switch modules are designed to fit inside your backbox.

Factory Reset the Device

1. After powering on the module for the first time, the lamp should slowly blink. If it does not blink, you will need to factory reset the device.
   
2. To do this, press the reset button 5 times.
   
3. If the module is not accessible, switch the power off and on 5 times.
   
4. The lamp will blink 3 times to indicate a successful factory reset.
   

Pairing

Prepare your smart hub:

Home Assistant - ZHA [Click to Expand ▾]

No preparation is needed — the device will work natively with ZHA.

Zigbee2MQTT [Click to Expand ▾]

No preparation is needed — the device will work natively with Zigbee2MQTT.

SmartThings [Click to Expand ▾]

For our C205, we recommend installing our driver, for the C-ZB-SM205-2G you will need to install our driver:

1. We recommend you unpair any C205/C-ZB-SM205-2G devices already paired first.
   
2. Go to:
   Candeo SmartThings Drivers
   
3. Sign in to your Samsung account.
   
4. Click "Enroll".
   
5. Click "Available Drivers".
   
6. Now find your model in the descriptions.
   
7. Click "Install" under the driver details.

Hubitat [Click to Expand ▾]

For our C205, we recommend installing our driver, for the C-ZB-SM205-2G you will need to install our driver:

1. On your Hubitat instance, go to Drivers code.
2. Click "+ New driver".
3. Click "Import".
4. Paste the following into the box that pops up:
   For C205: 
   https://raw.githubusercontent.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/refs/heads/main/Candeo%20C205%20Zigbee%20Switch%20Module%20(With%20Or%20Without%20Neutral).groovy
   For C-ZB-SM205-2G you will need : 
   https://raw.githubusercontent.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/refs/heads/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-SM205-2G%20Zigbee%202-Gang%20Switch%20Module%20(L%2BN).groovy
   and after step 6 and repeating steps 1-3:
   https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/raw/refs/heads/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-SM205-2G%20Zigbee%202-Gang%20Switch%20Module%20(L+N)%20Child%20Switch.groovy
5. Click "Import".
6. Click "Save".

Philips Hue [Click to Expand ▾]

Core features are natively supported in Philips Hue. For advanced features or custom parameter configuration, a dedicated Zigbee hub platform is recommended.

Amazon Echo [Click to Expand ▾]

Core features are natively supported across Amazon Echo devices with built-in Zigbee hubs. For advanced features or custom parameter configuration, a dedicated Zigbee hub platform is recommended.

Other Zigbee 3.0 Platforms [Click to Expand ▾]

Please follow the standard device pairing and search procedure outlined in your specific hub's manufacturer documentation.

 

Put the Device in Pairing Mode:

After performing the factory reset your dimming module should be ready to pair. If your hub does not find your dimmer module please power the module off and power on, and try again within 15 seconds of powering on.
