[C302-WF] Wiring Instructions
- Turn off the power
- To avoid electrical shock and/or equipment damage, disconnect ectrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before installation and maintenance.
- Be aware that even if the circuit breaker is off, some voltage may remain in the wires — before proceeding with the installation, be sure no voltage is present in the wiring.
- Unscrew the existing switch/dimmer from the wall, and before removing the wires note where the wires are connected. Taking a photo is also useful for comparison.
- Connect the device according to the diagrams shown below for either a 1-way or 2-way/multiway system.
When wiring a 2-way/multiway system only 1 dimmer can be used in the circuit. All other switches must be (non-smart) push/retractive switches, with only one direction i.e. bottom OR top only. On/off toggle switches are not supported.
