[C-ZB-RD1/C-ZB-RD1P] Wiring instructions
- Turn off the power.
- To avoid electric shock and/or equipment damage, disconnect electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before installation and maintenance.
- Be aware that even if the circuit breaker is off, some voltage may remain in the wires — before proceeding with the installation, be sure no voltage is present in the wiring.
- Unscrew the existing switch/dimmer from the wall and before removing the wires note where the wires are connected. Taking a photo is also useful for comparison.
- Connect the device according to the diagrams shown below for either a 1-way or 2-way/multiway system.
Please note that it is critical to get the Live and Switched Live the right way around. This is less important on a non-smart switch, but important on smart switches. If you are in any doubt, please use a multimeter or consult with an electrician.
