[C204/C-ZB-DM204] My dimming module doesn't work with retractive switches












The modules are normally preconfigured to work with retractive switches.
It has come to our attention that some of our modules may be set to work with toggle switches instead.

If you are using SmartThings, Hubitat, ZHA, or zigbee2mqtt, you will be able to change the switch type yourself.
You must be using the Candeo drivers to access this setting in SmartThings and Hubitat.
Instructions for installing these drivers can be found here:
  • After changing the setting you must power cycle the module for the setting to take effect.
  • Note that when using rocker/toggle switches, you will not be able to dim from the switch.

    • If you are using other Zigbee hubs, and retractive switches aren't working as expected, we’re offering a free reconfiguration service. Simply return the module to us and we’ll correct the switch type setting at no cost.
