[RD1 Series] Software & Hub FAQs

Why does the device stay in the previous mode in Zigbee2MQTT?
This is a known flaw with Zigbee2MQTT. Although the device has actually changed modes, the Zigbee2MQTT cache still registers the old mode when you re-pair.

To successfully overcome this, you need to power cycle Zigbee2MQTTafter removing the RD1-Pro from your system.
  1. Remove the RD1-Pro from Zigbee2MQTT
  2. Power cycle Zigbee2MQTT (A restart is not enough – it must be a power cycle)
  3. Set the mode as you wish
  4. Re-pair to Zigbee2MQTT
