How to install drivers, quirks and blueprints

Quirks (ZHA only)

  1. Editing your configuration.yaml file
    1. Open Studio Code Server in your Home Assistant instance.
    2. Select configuration.yaml, then click inside the editor to close the file system sidebar.
    3. Paste the following into the open file:
      zha:
        custom_quirks_path: /config/zha_quirks/
    4. Click the Save icon.
  2. Installing the quirk files
    1. In another browser tab, go to:
      https://github.com/candeosmart/homeassistant-zha
    2. Find your Candeo model, and click the file name.
    3. Click the Download raw file icon.
    4. Return to Home Assistant and open Studio Code Server.
    5. Click the New folder icon and create a folder called zha_quirks.
    6. Right-click the new folder.
    7. Select Upload…, then choose your downloaded .py quirk file.
    8. The file should now appear inside your zha_quirks folder.
    9. The last step is to reload your configuration.yaml.
      1. Go to Settings → System.
      2. Click the power icon in the top-right, and choose Quick reload.

Blueprints

  1. Go to our Blueprints page.
  2. In the README section please find the blueprint you need.
  3. Click the import button
    1. This should open your Home Assistant instance in a new tab.
    2. You may need to click "Save" on the first page, to continue.
  4. Click "Open link".
  5. Login to Home Assistant.
  6. Click "PREVIEW".
  7. Click "IMPORT BLUEPRINT"
SmartThings
  1. We recommend you unpair any device you are installing the driver for first.
  2. On your web browser go to:
  3. https://bestow-regional.api.smartthings.com/invite/1J2QyNNJAO20
  4. Sign in to your Samsung account.
  5. Click "Enroll".
  6. Click "Available Drivers".
  7. Now find your model in the descriptions.
  8. Click "Install" under the driver details.

Hubitat
  1. We recommend that any C‑ZB‑LC20 devices added previously should be unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset and choosing the correct mode.
  2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
  3. Click "+ New driver".
  4. Click "Import".
  5. Copy the correct URL for your device's driver from below:

  6. Paste the URL into the import box that has popped up.
  7. Click "Import".
  8. Click "Save".
  9. To add more drivers repeat the process.
Notes
Please note that our 2-gang modules need both a master and child driver
