[C-ZB-RD1/C-ZB-RD1P] How do I install a new Hubitat driver?

Importing the driver.

1. We recommend any RD1 or RD1P devices (depending on the driver being added) added previously are unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset.
   
2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
   
3. Click "+ New driver".
   
4. Click "Import".
   
5. Paste the relevant following web address into the box that pops up:

6. Click "Import".
   
7. Click "Save".
   
Please note you only need to import each driver once. After the import all new RD1/RD1P devices will pick up the new driver. We recommend that any devices corresponding to the driver you are updating—RD1 or RD1P—be unpaired, then factory reset and paired again. Devices of the other model do not need to be unpaired.



Changing the driver.

If you would prefer not to unpair your RD1/RD1P devices, and add them again, you can change to our custom driver by importing it, and then following the instructions below:

1. On your Hubitat instance go to "Devices".
   
2. Find and click your RD1/RD1P.
   
3. Scroll down to "Device information".
   
4. In the "Type" box, type in Candeo followed by your model number, and select the option with the correct mode.
   
5. Click "Save device".
   
6. Click "Configure" at the top of the page.
   
Any settings changes should also be finished by clicking the "Configure" button.
