[C-ZB-SM205-2G] How do I install a new Hubitat driver?













Importing the driver.

New functionalities: 
  1. Via Parent Device:
    1. Supports on / off / flash (operates both gangs)
    2. Reports power / energy / current / voltage events (whole device)
  2. Via Child Devices:
    1. Supports on / off / flash
    2. Setting For Power On Default
    3. Setting For Power State After Hub Startup

  1. We recommend that any C-ZB-SM205-2G devices added previously should be unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset.
  2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
  3. Click "+ New driver".
  4. Click "Import".
  5. Paste the following into the box that pops up: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-SM205-2G%20Zigbee%202-Gang%20Switch%20Module%20(L%2BN).groovy
  6. Click "Import".
  7. Click "Save".
  8. Please repeat the process, but this time pasting this address instead:

    9. NotesPlease note you only need to import the drivers once. After the import all new C-ZB-SM205-2G devices will pick up the new driver.
Changing the driver.

If you would prefer not to unpair your C-ZB-SM205-2G devices, and add them again, you can change to our custom driver by importing the driver, and then following the instructions below:
  1. On your Hubitat instance go to "Devices".
  2. Find and click your C-ZB-DM205-2G device.
  3. Scroll down to "Device information".
  4. In the "Type" box, type in Candeo followed by your model number, and select the option that appears.
  5. Click "Save device".
  6. Click "Configure" at the top of the page.
    Any settings changes should also be finished by clicking the "Configure" button.
