[C201] How do I install a new Hubitat driver?



Please note the new driver is currently for product codes #10 and above. Do not install it if your product code # is below 10.
You can identify the # code on the back of the device.
If you have multiple devices, of both compatible and incompatible batches, you can either install the driver and change the drivers individually, or not install the driver.

Importing the driver.
New functionalities: 
  1. Adds Power On setting
  2. Adds Power On level setting
  3. Adds On level

  1. We recommend any C201 devices previously added are unpaired and then paired again after a factory reset.
  2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
  3. Click "+ New driver".
  4. Click "Import".
  5. Paste the following into the box that pops up (this driver is both for our C202/C202N and the C201):
  6. Click "Import".
  7. Click "Save".
    Please note you only need to import the driver once for each model. After the import all new C201 devices will pick up the new driver.
Changing the driver.

If you would prefer not to unpair your C201 devices, and add them again, you can change the C201 driver to our custom driver by importing the driver, and then following the instructions below:
  1. On your Hubitat instance go to "Devices".
  2. Find and click your C201 device.
  3. Scroll down to "Device information".
  4. In the "Type" box, type in Candeo followed by your model number, and select the option that appears.
  5. Click "Save device".
  6. Click "Configure" at the top of the page.
    Any settings changes should also be finished by clicking the "Configure" button.
