TouchLink to a Zigbee Remote
- Initiate pairing mode on the controller with on of the following methods:
- Quickly press the reset button 3 times.
- Leave the controller disconnected from the power, then reconnect.
- A controller connected to a zigbee hub will enter touchlink mode straight after pairing with your hub.
- To ensure a successful connection, keep the remote within 10cm of the controller.
- Initiate pairing mode on your touchlink remote. Please refer to the instructions specific to your remote.
- Upon a successful connection your remote should indicate the success.
Please Note:
- When both devices (controller and remote) are not included in a Zigbee network, each controller can connect with up to 1 remote control.
- When both devices are included in the same Zigbee network, each controller can connect with up to 30 remote controls.
- For Philips Hue Hubs and Amazon Echo Plus, first add the remote and the device to network, and then begin Touchlink pairing.
2.4GHz RF remote pairing
- Pairing mode will start when the controller is powered on, and last for 4 seconds.
- Pairing can be completed successfully by pressing the “On” button of any zone on the remote.
- The LED strip will blink 3 times on a successful pairing.
2.4GHz RF remote scene memory function
- Click on a scene button of the remote control to enter scene mode.
- Long press the scene button to save the scene or short press to activate a scene.
2.4GHz RF Network reset
- Method 1: Short press the “Master On” button 5 times quickly, within 4 seconds of powering on the controller.
- Method 2:
Power state behaviour settings
- Press the “Opt” button for 5 seconds.
- The indicator LED will flash blue 3 times.
- Power state will now be remembered (the default is off).
- Repeat the steps above to disable the memory.
Frequency settings
- To be able to use different power supplies, change the frequency to the correct setting.
- Possible frequencies are: 600Hz, 800Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz and 8000Hz. 1000Hz is the default. One press of the reset button will change the frequency to next setting. The indicator LED will flash pink to indicate which frequency. Please see the table below for the key.
Setting mode
- Power on your controller with your appropriate DC power supply.
- Press and hold the Reset Button for 5 seconds.
- This will reset the controller back into the default mode of RGBCCT.
- Short Pressing the Opt button cycles through the modes. Press the Opt button until the LED indicates that you have matched the mode of the controller to your LED strip type.
