[C-ZB-SM30-2G] Remote & Binding FAQs


Pairing a Zigbee Remote via TouchLink
  1. Short press K1 or K2 four times to start TouchLink commissioning. The process has a 180-second timeout; repeat if necessary.
  2. Bring the remote or touch panel within 10cm of the lighting device.
  3. Set the remote or touch panel into TouchLink commissioning mode. Refer to the relevant remote or touch panel manual for instructions.
  4. The remote will indicate a successful link, and the connected light will flash twice.

Notes:
  1. For direct TouchLink (neither device added to a Zigbee network), each device can link with one remote.
  2. If TouchLink is performed after both devices are already added to a Zigbee network, each device can link with up to 30 remotes.
  3. To control a device with both a gateway and a remote, add both the remote and device to the network first, then perform TouchLink.
  4. After TouchLink, the device can be controlled by the linked remotes.
Pairing a Zigbee Green Power Remote
  1. Short press K1 or K2 four times to start pairing mode. Pairing mode remains active for 180 seconds. If the timeout expires, repeat this step.
  2. Put the Zigbee Green Power remote into pairing mode. Refer to the remote’s user manual for the procedure.
  3. The LED indicator flashes twice to confirm successful pairing. The remote can now control the device.
Notes
Note: Each device can be paired with up to 20 Zigbee Green Power remotes.
Removing a Zigbee Green Power Remote
  1. Short press K1 or K2 three times to start unpairing mode. Unpairing mode remains active for 180 seconds. If the timeout expires, repeat this step.
  2. Put the paired Zigbee Green Power remote into pairing mode. Refer to the remote’s user manual for the procedure.
  3. The LED indicator flashes four times to confirm successful removal.
