[C-ZB-DM201-2G] Advanced configuration


TouchLink to a Zigbee Remote
(Channel 1 only)
  1. Factory reset the dimming module:
    1. Press and hold the “Reset” button for 10 seconds.
  2. Turn on the light and press the reset button 4 times.
  3. The LED will start blinking green indicating that the module is ready for Touchlink mode. Pairing mode will time-out after 10 minutes.
  4. Bring the remote within 10cm of the module and set the remote into Touchlink commissioning mode. You will need to refer to the instructions that came with the remote to do this.
  5. Once connected, the light will blink on and then stay on, and you can control your lights remotely.
Notes
Please Note:
  1. When both devices (Dimmer and remote) are not included in a Zigbee network, each module can connect with up to 1 remote control.
  2. When both devices are included in the same Zigbee network, each dimmer can connect with up to 30 remote controls.
  3. For Philips Hue Hubs and Amazon Echo Plus, first add the remote and the device to network, and then begin Touchlink pairing.

Find and Bind

  1. Make sure your dimming module and remote are already connected to your Zigbee network.
  2. Turn on light #2 and then press the reset button 5 times.
  3. The LED will start blinking yellow indicating that the module is ready for Find and Bind mode. Pairing mode will time-out after 3 minutes.
  4. Set the remote or touch panel into Find and Bind mode. You will need to refer to the instructions that came with the remote to do this.
  5. There will be an indication on the remote that Find and Bind mode has been successfully established.
