Installation Instructions

We recommend installing the LED controller using the included double sided sticky patch included, however you can also mount it using a screw through the slot just below the input.

Factory Reset the Device

  1. Method 1:
    1. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. The LED strip will flash 3 times.
  2. Method 2:
    1. Power on the controller.
    2. Within 2 seconds disconnect the power.
    3. Wait for at least 5 seconds.
    4. Repeat steps a through c 5 times.
    5. The LED strip will flash 3 times.

Pairing

Prepare your smart hub:

No preparation needed - the device will work natively with zigbee2mqtt.
SmartThings [Click to Expand ▾]


You will need to install our driver:

  1. We recommend you unpair any of these remotes already paired first.
  2. Click the link below:
    Candeo custom SmartThings drivers
  3. Sign in to your Samsung account.
  4. Click "Enroll".
  5. Click "Available Drivers".
  6. Now find your model in the descriptions.
  7. Click "Install" under the driver details.

You will need to install our driver:
  1. We recommend that any C-ZB-LC20 devices added previously should be unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset, and choosing the correct mode.
  2. On your Hubitat instance go to Drivers code.
  3. Click "+ New driver".
  4. Click "Import".
  5. Paste one of the following into the box that pops up: 
    1. For CCT mode: https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/blob/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-LC20%20Smart%20LED%20Controller%20(CCT%20Mode).groovy
    2. For RGBW mode: https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/blob/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-LC20%20Smart%20LED%20Controller%20(RGBW%20Mode).groovy
    3. For RGB mode: https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/blob/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-LC20%20Smart%20LED%20Controller%20(RGB%20Mode).groovy
    4. For RGBCCT mode: https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/blob/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-LC20%20Smart%20LED%20Controller%20(RGBCCT%20Mode).groovy
    5. For dimmer mode: https://github.com/candeosmart/hubitat-zigbee/blob/main/Candeo%20C-ZB-LC20%20Smart%20LED%20Controller%20(Dimmer%20Mode).groovy
  6. Click "Import".
  7. Click "Save".
  8. To add more drivers repeat the process.

The core features for this device work in Philips Hue. For more advanced features, an alternative Zigbee platform is recommended.
Amazon Echo [Click to Expand ▾]


The core features are supported natively in Amazon Echo devices that have Zigbee. For more advanced features an alternative Zigbee platform is recommended.

Please follow the pairing instructions for your hub.
 

Put the Device in Pairing Mode:

After you have performed the factory reset, your controller should be ready to pair. If your hub can't find the controller please try powering the controller off and on again.
