[C-ZB-RD1/C-ZB-RD1P] Can I use my rotary dimmer as a remote to control the brightness of another device? Or in decoupled mode?

The C-ZB-RD1 can't be used as a remote, nor can it be decoupled, but the C-ZB-RD1P can be set in 1 of 3 different modes. These are:

  1. Dimmer mode:
    1. This is the default, and is for using the RD1P wired to the light you want to control.
    2. To return to this mode, short press the knob 3 times. A red LED should flash 6 times.
  2. Remote Mode (smart bulb mode):
    1. This is for using the RD1P to control a smart bulb, or other remote device.
    2. The RD1P can either be wired to the same circuit as the smart bulb, or it can be wired with one of our LED bypass modules.
      1. The RD1P will not physically control the device it's wired to, only remote mode is enabled.
    3. To enter this mode, short press the knob 4 times. A green LED should flash 6 times.
  3. Dual purpose mode:
    1. This is for using the RD1P for controlling both the wired circuit and a remote device.
      1. Turning or press the knob controls a remote device only. The wired circuit is controllable from your smart hub.
    2. To enter this mode, short press the knob 5 times.
