[C202/C202N] How do I install a new Smartthings driver?



Please note the new driver is currently for product codes #10 and above. Do not install it if your product code # is below 10.
You can identify the # code on the back of the device.
If you have multiple devices, of both compatible and incompatible batches, you can either install the driver and change the drivers individually, or not install the driver.

Importing the driver.

New functionalities: 
  1. Adds Power On setting
  2. Adds Power On level setting
  3. Adds On level
  1. We recommend you unpair any C202/C202N devices already paired first.
  2. On your web browser go to:
  3. Sign in to your Samsung account.
  4. Click "Enroll".
  5. Click "Available Drivers".
  6. Now find your model in the descriptions.
  7. Click "Install" under the driver details.
    8. Please note you only need to import the driver once. After the import all new C202/C202N devices will pick up the new driver. We recommend any C202/C202N devices added previously are unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset.
Changing the driver.

If you would prefer not to unpair your C202/C202N devices, and add them again, you can change the C202/C202N driver to our custom driver by importing the driver, and then following the instructions below:
  1. On your Smartthings app go to "Devices".
  2. Find and select your C202/C202N.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner.
  4. Tap "Driver".
  5. Tap "Select different driver".
  6. Select the new driver.
