[C-ZB-RD1/C-ZB-RD1P] How do I install a new SmartThings driver?


Importing the driver.

  1. We recommend you unpair any C-ZB-RD1/C-ZB-RD1P (whichever device you are installing the driver for) devices already paired first.
  2. On your web browser go to:
  3. Sign in to your Samsung account.
  4. Click "Enroll".
  5. Click "Available Drivers".
  6. Now find your model in the descriptions.
  7. Click "Install" under the driver details.
    8. NotesPlease note you only need to import the driver once. After the import all new RD1 or RD1P devices will pick up the new driver. We recommend any RD1/RD1P devices added previously are unpaired, and then paired again after a factory reset.
Changing the driver.

If you would prefer not to unpair your RD1/RD1P devices, and add them again, you can change the RD1/RD1P driver to our custom driver by importing the driver, and then following the instructions below:
  1. On your SmartThings app go to "Devices".
  2. Find and select your RD1/RD1P.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner.
  4. Tap "Driver".
  5. Tap "Select different driver".
  6. Select the new driver.
