[CMM-1] Modmote troubleshooting

The first step we recommend in any troubleshooting is a factory reset.
Normally we would suggest simply removing the modmote from your smart hub, and using the reset button to pair it again.

If this does not work there is a reset switch underneath button 4.
To perform this reset please follow these instructions:
  1. Make sure the modmote is charged.
  2. Remove button 4 by lifting gently on the outside lip of the button tile, with the base of your palm positioned on the centre of tthe remote to hold it steady.
  3. Move the switch to the opposite position. This will switch off the device.
  4. Leave the switch in this position for 5 minutes.
  5. Move the switch back to the original position.
We would suggest that along with this, you then remove the modmote from your smart hub, and pair it again.

If you still have any issues after trying both of these methods, please do raise a ticket with us. You can do so here: New ticket
