[C501] Friends of Hue troubleshooting

The first step we recommend in any troubleshooting is a factory reset.

To reset the switch:

  1. If possible, remove the switch from the Hue app you originally paired the switch to. (Do this in the Hue app).
  2. Take out the battery for 4 hours, and then replace it. (Or better still, put a new battery in).
    1. This will reset the switch so you can pair again to a new system.
If you still have any issues after trying this, please do raise a ticket with us. You can do so here: New ticket
