[All Kinetic Receivers] Wiring Instructions
Please note that while a wired switch can remain in place, it should no longer be used to control the light, as doing so would switch off the receiver.
The most common place to install our receivers is just before the light fixture, as the light fixture typically has both live and neutral connections.
If your wired light switch includes a neutral connection, the receiver can alternatively be installed there.
Safety Precautions
- Turn off the power.
Always disconnect electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before installation or maintenance to prevent electric shock or equipment damage. - Verify no voltage is present.
Even when the circuit breaker is switched off, residual voltage may remain in the wiring. Before proceeding, ensure that no voltage is present using a suitable tester. - Avoid accidental activation.
Take extra care to prevent the device from being switched on during installation.
